This project, which I had had in mind for quite some time, materialised in summer 2023. I wanted to try out again cyanotype, a contact printing technique that uses the sun's rays. This technique dates back to the mid 19th century and is still used today as an artistic photographic print and graphic process. In my case, I printed flowers and leaves from my garden on sheets using this process. I later photographed the results with the Lensbaby Sol45 lens - I chose this lens for its optical effect. In post processing I changed the colours and added textures for a very special result. I really enjoyed it!
