The Ice UTOPIAE project finally materialised during the winter of 2020/21, thanks also to the theme "Abstract Photography" of a regional competition I wanted to take part in. I had been thinking about ice for some time because its textures, which change constantly as it gets colder or warmer, always capture me. I like to observe the patterns that nature gives us in general and ice is an interesting element in this respect.

For the photographs I used a telephoto lens, so I could get closer to the parts of the ice that interested me. I looked for textures that inspired me and in post-processing I made them very personal.

By great request I also made the cards, which you can find in the Online Shop section.
